| The two videos above were created after receiving feedback about our aquarium test (shown below). Fellow firefighters thought that the use of a fish aquarium to conduct our tests was not realistic and that the results of our video were most likely incorrect. Too answer those that questioned our results, the two videos above were real life situations in a real home using real material. We realised that we are not scientist, however as firefighters we felt that we had created a test that in its simplest form showed the dangers of having only one type smoke detector in your home Please watch the videos and contact the Barre City Fire department with your thoughts and any questions you may have.
